Remember having those innocent crushes in high school? Watching the older boys playing football at lunchtime, chatting and giggling with the girls? Blushing furiously while revealing your secret crush that you could, like, never talk to?
Now that you are a “grown up” there are other ways to check out good looking men, so grab your girlfriends, and a glass of champagne, and remember, sometimes its more fun just looking, giggling and reminiscing with the girls.
Going to a professional sports match
You may have been to a sports game before, maybe to be a supportive partner to someone who is crazy about his team, or maybe because you genuinely love the game.
For a fun girl’s day out, grab some of your best friends and go to the game, no boyfriends allowed. There are plenty of good looking, muscular men in short shorts to look at, although we recommend avoiding cricket as this is potentially boring to watch, and the players wear long pants!
Going to the beach
If you prefer tanned bodies, visit your local beach. Get out your beach towels, picnic and of course the sunscreen and make your way down to the sun and surf. There are always men surfing and playing in the water for you to look out. If you get bored, you can always go for a swim or surf yourself, just watch out for sharks!
Going to a concert or watching a pub band
If you prefer the alternative male, or a man who is passionate about his music; try taking the girls to see your favourite boy band.
This could mean clean cut men singing poppy love songs, or those who are dark and mysterious, there is sure to be a lot to look at. Going to a concert is always a lot of fun, whether there is eye candy or not, and a great way to relax, or have some silly singing time, after a long week of work.
Watching a movie
Whether you are going to go out to the cinema or rug up at home with some DVDs, remember they aren’t called Hollywood Hunks for nothing. No matter who you fancy, whether it be the widely popular Brad Pitt, or perhaps you prefer People Magazines current number one man, Matthew McConaughey, there is nothing like a girly chick flick to bring out an innocent crush.
For a dose of romance and a classic story, try Pride and Prejudice (the Colin Firth BBC version), who can go past Mr. Darcy?
