I have been dying my hair blonde and am thinking about going back to my natural honey brown. What is the process and can I do it without an expensive bill?
Corrective colour is always exciting and can pose a challenge to the untrained! Always seek professional advice before launching into such a change to make sure you are fully aware of the process.
Finding a colourist that you feel comfortable with and who understands exactly what you're after is paramount to achieving a successful result. This process involves pre-treating, filling and then possible double colouring to ensure correct depth and evenness of tone. As far as cost is concerned though, I always say "good work isn't cheap and cheap work is rarely good". This is not a time for chasing a bargain!
I would like to get blonde streaks, should I get foils or use a streaking cap?
Ah, the show down begins! A cap has many holes, is one size fits all (unless it’s old) and isn't at all about YOU the individual. Highlighting results with a cap can be uncertain, it may be quick but often creates a build up due to 'working blind' whilst pulling hair through the holes - it can also leave your regrowth looking spotted - very unsavoury.
Foils when executed well provide you with the opportunity to use multiple tones evenly, the ability to place colour exactly where you want thus personalising your haircut. Foiling gets closer to your scalp and follows your hairline for a more natural result...
A great tip is to keep the highlights around your hairline slightly softer in tone and finer than the rest, this ensures a more natural line as your regrowth comes through.

During winter my hair becomes frizzy because of the moisture in the air, what can I do to prevent this? I spend a long time straightening my hair only to have it frizz up as soon as I go outside.
Using such products as Osis Slick (flattening liquid) will give you long lasting smooth control while Osis Flatliner (flattening iron serum) will give you protection against your irons. To finish use Osis Magic (anti-frizz serum) to prevent any frizziness.
I have a diamond face, will a blunt straight fringe suit me?
Yes, definitely a blunt fringe will suit. Try for slightly rounded at the sides to best suit your face.
Is short hair still in fashion? What should I consider before making the chop?
Short hair is always in fashion... you've just got to wear it well. Consider a striking colour that will bring detail and also softness to your haircut.
