Boudoir Belle

www.boudoirbelle.com

How did Boudoir Belle start?

Boudoir Belle began with a trip to Vietnam and being amazed by the quality and size of the hand embroidery industry there. The artistry and workmanship were incredible, and we felt that by harnessing the traditional craft with a modern cheeky, twist we could create products that would really appeal to a Western audience. A seed was sown….

What made you choose the name Boudoir Belle?

After much debate and many trials, ironically the name just came to us whilst decorating one of our bedrooms!

What was the first bag you made?

The first bag we made was ‘Girl’s stuff’. It is one of our most popular bags and is still going strong!

What are your personal favourites?

Our favourites tend to be our most recent. We love our Hairdryer & Straightener bags as they are unusual but so practical. Plus our new gorgeous, girly pillowcases are really pretty…

What are your best sellers?

We have recently introduced a new line of silk bags, in a shocking pink with a black silk lining; these have proved really popular.

Can you tell us more about where the art comes from?

We are surrounded by all sorts of inspiration… Books, Magazines, Fashion, Museums, Friends and Life!

What’s next for Boudoir Belle?

We are very happy with the styling of our brand and we are brimming with so many ideas, you will just have to keep watching!

Where can we find your gorgeous products?

You can buy directly from our website at www.boudoirbelle.com .

What does being a woman mean to you?

… being a Boudoir Belle!

Thank you for the interview!

I love a woman…with mud on her face, but every hair needs to be in place…

This was Boudoir Belle’s first journey to Australia and let me start by saying these bags are just gorgeous. They are very well made, from the stitching, to the quality and they even smell good! They are nicely lined, and quite strong. I used the smaller bag to store my hair straightener and the larger bag for my hair dryer. I placed hooks on the wall and they hang there perfectly together.

Very girly and chick, and will last a long time. Store your accessories in style at the envy of your friends!
