Ashton’s Family Resort is a game the whole family can enjoy. The story begins with a pair of newlyweds, who decide to combine their talents and open a holiday resort.
Starting in the USA, their first resort is family friendly and comes with basic activities such as basketball and fishing. Like all good time management games, the lead characters are always looking to expand and by the end of the game you will have satisfied guests in 4 different locations – USA, Switzerland, Kenya and Bora Bora.
Each location has its own unique set of activities, and you have to manage your two staff appropriately to keep your vacationers happy.
This game comes from Realore Studios (the makers of the hit Jane’s series of games) and I did enjoy playing it. We usually like to see a minimum of 50 levels for better value for money and this game only has 40…but it is still entertaining.
Trying to get expert on every level becomes quite a positive challenge as there isn’t much room for error. There are upgrades which unlock after each level which add extra tasks for staff members as well as entertainment for guests.
This game is quite original, it has a few similar elements to Jane’s Hotel however it isn’t a complete copy.
If you are a fan of casual time management games, give Ashton’s Family Resort a try – it will give you some much needed entertainment over the holidays.
